April Mae & the June Bugs signature sound is nourished by the wellspring of intoxicating vintage jazz swing - with exciting nuanced influences of unbridled roots music, effervescent rockabilly and the spirited jump blues & viper jazz of the nineteen thirties and forties. Performed on traditional -and not so traditional instruments invoking elements of New Orleans early jazz and skiffle music.
